[Igglyboo]

My newest camera code, much more efficient and with better controls. While it may look long because of the two separate codes, it is still much shorter than my other camera code.

The controls are the same as the pause menu, Analog stick for rotations, C stick for panning and X/Y for zooming. R+L+Z to reset the camera. This is all for the FOURTH GAMECUBE CONTROLLER. Oh and please note, the joystick tracking is sensitive so if you have old/beatup controllers that might lean one way or another it might cause the camera to inadvertently move, not a problem with the code its just the controller, a fix may come soon.

Alright, new code for replacing files. This one is far more sophisticated than the last one and, as far as I know, has absolutely no bugs.

There are two types of the code. The first, the a type, is 34 lines and will read all files from their standard directory in the pf folder. The second, type b, only 22 lines but will read all files from the root of the sd card. Use the one that best suits your preference.

Well, I'll admit that the old boards were getting a bit crowded and there were lots of people who were just filling up the pages, but don't you think it seems a bit quiet around here? Feels like I'm in a cemetery .

Yes I'm back, I've been caught up in this huge project I've been working on lately (courtesy of a suggestion from bkirch and support from Igglyboo). The gist of the project was to remove the need for having to burn disks whenever you want to use custom made textures. Through long hard hours of work I finally get to present to you all the Dynamic SD Loader and it's first application, the File Replacement system. Simply put, these codes will allow you to replace any (well, almost any) file that is loaded from the disk with any file of the same name stored on your SD card.

The grand total is 178 lines.

All released pokemon texture hacks have been known to randomly freeze while loading in mid-battle. It is unknown weather this is due to the code, or the textures which are all by the same author. Assist trophies are confirmed to work without problems.


Keep in mind that this can be applied to almost any file loaded from the disk, not just .pac/.pcs files - But they must be named as they would be on the disk itself. (The exception is any file name suffixed with _en before the file type - files are in fact loaded without the _en and likewise they should be omitted when naming the file on the SD card) There are, however, some files that aren't handled by the code - a list has yet to be made.

Among other things, there are two things that you should know about when using this code.

1. Load times are increased by a slight margin.(don't worry, you'll barely notice it)
2. There is a slight chance of freezing if you exit the CSS and enter the SSS before the character's files are completely loaded. (when the Wii stops beeping) It is advised that you wait until then to eliminate all possibilities of error. Alternatively, you can sacrifice the use of Custom Stages to remove freezing completely.

Hey Phantom, you'll need to update this. EliteSmashHackers just released a texture that changes the looks of custom stage parts, so you'll need to update this post with the directory and proper name.

With 122 lines, this code will load music in much the same way it replaces files. The music will be placed in:

X:\private\wii\app\RSBE\pf\sound\strm\(Music Number).brstm

There is one known bug that users need to be aware of when using music.

The Wii appears to support an SD security system that will automatically disable the SD card if there are too many reads per second. This usually isn't a problem except that there are a few songs (Tales of Symphonia of a few that I've tested) that appear to feed the song through the stream twice as fast as ordinary songs... even with these songs, the problem happens infrequently. (when it does happen, all stages, textures and SD material will be inaccessible. Just eject the SD card and put it back in after the now jumbled up song has stopped to re-enable the SD card.) I will be looking for a way to disable this system in the future.

Well, since REDSOXROX did a custom item description code... I figured why shouldn't it work for music titles?

Well... it kinda does and doesn't...

In the "My Music" screen, the modified titles don't show up... (I don't think it shows up in the sound test either)

However, it DOES show up at the start of the match...

That should do until the SD loader code makes it so that you can upload the modified music title files of the method shown in the Kitty Corp Forums...

Temporary fix, eh? Just until something else comes along by Phantom, or a simpler code which Jose_Gallardo said was able to search for all the address with the music titles...

I've only done the song titles for Battlefield, Final Destination, Delfino Plaza, and Luigi's Mansion so far... But I plan on doing little by little each day...

I think I got all of these 'song changer' codes the other day.

And so comes the close of Phantom Wings' 365th day in existence. That's right, today was exactly one year since my first post and subsequently my first codes posted here at GSCentral.net. To commemorate the date, I will release to you you all the first fruits of Plan Zero - now officially name Project SA.

I was initially intending on having a machinima-like introduction with the whole Challenger approaching thing, (hence why I haven't released it sooner) but due to technical difficulties I'll have to settle for a SmashBros.com-like article on him.

For lack of a better name, I named him Pheonix Mario.

I started working on this yesterday morning and finished it late into the night of the same day. Once you get the hang of it, it is surprisingly simple to use. Currently however, there are many pieces of script that remain without descriptions or instructions on how to use them. So much of it is unusable unless you're well versed in the syntax of the script.

Though I figured a problem...

when Mario gets a Smashball and uses it, he freezes up ONLY him. and if someone hits him, he is free to move but still cant use B cause the game thinks he still has the FS. So he the Ball can get out of him even though it doesn't appear he has it tho.

hey guys its been awhile since ive checked up on this game but im temporarily back, I've noticed that people arent really makign codes for ssbb anymore, so i think its time for me to get a finished txt file with all the codes.
So i was wondering if someone would be able to upload their cheat txt file with pretty much every code made, im guessing thats about 800 or so by now lol. I'm not really into texture hacks so if you cant include those it wouldnt be a concern, thank you very much if someone could do this for me

And I've searched around GScentral for a fixer code, and noticed that other people were having the problem too, but never got it fixed (To my knowledge). My problem is that I was using character mod codes a day or so back, and I ended up mucking up my SSBB game save. I don't want to have to start everything over again, and I don't want to cheat to get back all of the stuff I've got (And more), but I was wondering if there was a code for the RSBE01 version of SSBB. I looked around Bing for a bit, and found a code that supposedly removes Luigi's mansion from the maps list (I thought using that, along with the unlock all stages code would fix it), but it had no effect in removing Luigi's mansion from the list of stages that I'd unlocked, and it still freezes. Here is the code I found that supposedly removes Luigi's Mansion, but I don't know what region/game version it is for. Here is the code. Assistance would be nice as soon as possible. I miss the mansion! ;-;
