    Default SNES code submitions.

    I'll take requests for whatever games you may have. If I don't have a copy of the game requested I will request a rom for that game. If a rom is not supplied then the code will not be made. I'm also working on a project so if it takes awhile for your code to get done I'm either too busy or can't do the code. on a side not I have yet to read up on how to make a PAR code into a gamegenie code so that might not get done either.

    There are ton of SNES games without cheats but I'll be posting them as I go through them.

    Nope, I hate sports games, even the good ones :P

    The list is mostly sport games because those are the games with less codes or no codes at all.
    I'll be adding more (non-sports) games eventually as I go through the lists and see what games are missing or what games have few codes.

    well when I finish US it's onto jap for me anyway. I'll be getting to the codes when I can. For now though I have a zelda game and Rumble Roses to play first. I might just have to get into wrestling games for this one.

    To make RAM codes (PAR) into ROM codes (Game Genie), you will need a hex editor and the ROM you are playing as well as an emulator and a tool called Game Genie Converter which can be found on this site in the TOOLS section, bottom of the page. With that tool, you can type in any Game Genie or Hex code (not the 7E WRAM from PAR) and you can also show 32K range and 64K range as well as the instruction of the code. There is a difference for certain games, like Hi-ROM and Lo-ROM for SNES, etc. This requires an extra step before being able to make Game Genie codes into true Hex or True hex into Game Genie. The 7E codes from PAR are not really hex codes. Those codes are called WRAM (WorkRAM) codes and do not reflect the actual hex addresses in a ROM since it is actually code in RAM that is already running (Hence why it is called Work RAM or WRAM). As such, you cannot make WRAM codes work on a true Game Genie but they will work on an emulator. You will need the actual hex offsets in the ROM to make hex codes into Game Genie codes. Tony Hedstrom has a nice tutorial for SNES code-hacking for Hi-ROM and Lo-ROM games as well as this site in the TOOLS section which contains a slew of code-hacking docs for a variety of systems. Just do as it says and trust me, you wil be code-hacking in no time flat. I did, and I can do it now. One word of advice...if you never code-hacked or have very limited knowledge of it, learn to use a WRAM editor such as found in RZSNES to make PAR codes so you know how certain values are affected and grasp the idea of Memory Editing. When you figure this out, then you will be able to do better for ROM editing/Hexing/Forging. Just remember to back up your rom first or you will regret it.

    The infinite energy code you made for Spellcraft freezes the game when you reach level 14 (which is, I believe, the maximum level you can get).

    I think the one at fault is the experience code... maybe.
    I thought level 14 was the highest but its not, it goes on after level 14.
    On world 2 if I had the infinite energy code and reached level 15 the game froze, I had to disable it to continue.
    On the third world the game froze complete, I don't know why.

    It may be dynamic addressing like what you find in Goldeneye and Perfect Dark on the N64. In those games, for example, you will notice that Infinite Health/Ammo/etc will not work for every area off the same code. In fact, they almost all have their own offsets that are written to RAM near each other and thus, if you use a code for the Facility for Infinite HP, for example, and then compete that level and, with Facility code still active, go into the Cradle stage or Dam stage, you will freeze, glitch out or nothing happens....because either the Facility code is overwriting unrelated instructions that were replaced when you switched levels or is in NULLS or OFFS. Either way, you will have to find the HP codes for each area an post it accordingly with a note stating that such codes are only for this or that certain area or you can experience problems. That or find the LoRAM pointer offset that modifies the dynamic offsets and modify that. Finding the LoRAM pointer is very hard if you don't know ASM and breakpoints and such. Good luck and hope this helped a bit.

    Does anyone per chance have codes for the latest verison of Star Fox 2? Not like, ship modifiers on the site, but like, to prevent Coneria to not take any damage, and they your ships never get hurt or run out of bombs/sheilds, etc.

    That would be fine.

    I have the Beta TD version, which I assume is the final version. It can work with the translation patch.

    Just Inf. sheild, character items [bombs, shields etc], and Conerian health always 0%

    Never tried to be honest I'm not sure how to find it. anyways

    I found this for Batm man Returns for the SNES. I noted we had a text modigfier for the levels. But I found an actual level modifier.

    I managed to create a unlimited health code for this game, but I forgot which code it is. I have these 4 currently on in the game:

    And the health seems to stay at max.

    Also a request for this game, but there's no rush:

    1. Unlimited lives (I might look for this one myself if I have the time)
    2. Some codes to fix the 2 elements that go to pick what weapon you have. Fix them as the one you want to have is on. ie, this is a choose your own weapon code/s.

    What process would one look for invincibility, level skip and power ups codes?

    If a certain thing has numeric values it's easier to get codes for, like lives and energy.
    But what about 'hidden' values like jumping, speed, levels, etc?

    well level modifiers are done by searching for a changed value each time you change levels.

    You would start by just open a comparitive search then you change what level you are on. and do a search for an unequall value. and repeat till you get a decent number of posibilities.

    as for other unknown values it's the same. start a search and do something to change the value and search again.

    Hey you remember those mario levels that would just scroll themselves along? well I found a way to duplicate that but with one difference this time mario just scrolls through the level. And he does it at a really fast rate. provided you don't die you can get through the first level in less than 30 seconds. I did. It's more of a failed attempt but what the hell.

    Tony's around. I sent him an updated code list back in October. He emailed back.

    I was farting around with "Ninja Warriors" and found a controller cheat.
    If you press L+R+Select+Start simultaneously at the title screen you access a "BGM" screen.
    This got me thinking there were other things hidden in the game. I started looking for the memory address that held the "Screen" value. This address is: 7E0000, (just in case you want to do some investigating).

    Well after working through the values 00->
    I found that when I put 07 in there I got a test menu. Yeah!!!

    So,

    Ninja Warriors (SNES/GG)

    C2B0-DD6C Infinite Health
    D56F-D4A9 Access Test Menu
