Unhappy Legend of zelda Twilight Princess is gone

I just found out I deleted my save data by mistake. I was putting the Homebrew channel on my Wii, but when I try to put my Twilight Princess save data back on my Wii, it's gone. I put it on my computer, but it just won't appear on my sd card. Now I have to start all over again with my files. At least my Wii still works.

I deleted my file too on mistake when I was at the end of Twilight Princess. But I only deleted one of my files so I had others. This happened to me on other games but I learned to make 2 save files instead of 1.

If it's on your computer, you shouldn't have any problems restoring it to your Wii. Did you rename it to 'data.bin'?

Actually, no I didn't rename it. I should have done that before I did anything else. Guess I just better work on a new file until everything is back.

You put the 'data.bin' on the SD card...

yeah, I didn't erase anything that I thought I would need later. I don't know what the problem is.

This sucks. My backup laptop's built in Texas Instruments SD card reader won't read any SD card over 512 megabytes, so I couldn't even attempt to try to figure out what the problem is (I have 4 2 gigabyte SD cards, 2 for my HP digital camera, and 2 for my Wii). I only have the GC version of Twilight Princess, so I am stuck there as well.

Yeah, the Wii version of Twilight Princess is best. You can either buy it or rent it. Maybe you could get another sd card that has only 2 GB. If you still need help, there is also google.

I had ordered a 2 gigabyte SD card that comes with a USB SD/SDHC card reader from Walmart.com (My Walmart card is the only card that isn't close to being maxed out, most of my cards only have $500 limits on them) and it should be here on either Tuesday or Wednesday. UPS is delivering it, so I don't have to worry about the US Mail losing it because when the US Mail loses stuff, it is your problem, not theirs. I had mailed Christmas presents to my Aunt's house in Columbia, South Carolina using the US Mail 2 years ago and they got lost. So it is the UPS Store or Fedex-Kinkos for me from now on. I only bought the GC version of Twilight Princess so that I could use the GameCube AR on it. I had lost the homebrew channel the last time I had installed a firmware update on my Wii.

Pressing reset when you push the home button also erases your data. So be careful.

Pay a younger sibling to go through the game for you. I'd do it!

That's weird. I was able to set up the Homebrew channel without having that SDHC card reader. All I did was put the sd card in my printer.
