Default Louisiana Legislator Seeks to Ban Herbal Tea

There is not a single more important issue this legislator could spend his time tackling. I can't think of anything more important than passing another pointless law.

Just so you know, the Senator is Almond Gaston Crowe, a Republican (big surprise there).

So... why do we continue elect these low-life idiots?

Of course there is a petition to stop this nutjob in his tracks. Thanks to a commenter in the article.

Maybe next time we'll elect someone who is capable of dressing themselves in the morning.

What the hell man, that makes no sense whatsoever. Absolutly nothing is wrong with tea, even herbal tea. When are the politicians going to stop using everything else as a scapegoat and tackle the problems no one else will. This is why we are failing as a nation. As previously stated, "Our Forefathers would be pissed." As a nation, we've sold out our own beliefs to corporations and other shady groups and we as citizens are left to pay for it.

Louisiana has the highest incarceration rate in the world because of dumb shit just like this! Politicians will only stop once old-age catches up to them and by then, the damage will be already done and millions of lives will be ruined. Reasons like this should be enough for anyone to fight for the future. I'm not sure when the masses will wake up. Rarely do I even read the news anymore because it just makes me depressed.

Awareness is our only hope. Our Founding Fathers never intended anything even remotely as surreal as reality has come. I'm not sure if they even could have imagined the problems of a modern world. Sure, the constitution was written on hand to combat some future ailments that might inflict their new country. Maybe that was the problem. Developing ideas and initial change. A new Country with new ideas that apparently the world was and is still not ready for. There is no cure or solution considering the constant rate of change and ever-present problems being presented by an ever-changing World. Guess we're going to have sit back and watch as our governments continuously trample their people and violently attack their distant relatives out of fear and maybe even resources just to survive... I doubt that the world will last another century.
