DSi and the Action Replay DS

I wasn't sure if this belonged here seeing as it really isn't about a particular game and/or codes.... but just bought a shiny new DSi, well actually anti-polished new DSi but either way, Action replay DS doesn't work with it.

Which means I'll actually have to play through Platinum legitimately. I can't remember the last time I had to play a Pokemon game without cheating. The game takes way to damn long without a walk through walls code.

So now, I have to wait for a damn software update assuming it can still run off the same card. How long do you think I'll be holding my breath before it gets updated? More than likely, we'll have to wait for an AR that is made specifically for the DSi. If it even gets addressed is an entirely different issue in itself...

Keep ahold of your old DS and wait for Codejunkies to update the firmware for the AR, they'll be able to fix it.

So no. Not even the mighty flashcards will solve this issue... Because they won't work to begin with.

@Nary L Rosfar: The flashcarts that WILL work with the DSi need an entirely new hardware. To keep them working, they need to near-constantly update the firmware.

Ex.: Acekard2 for DS/L and Acekard2i for DSi, even with the same FW.

So, with this info in Datel's mind, they will be needing to create an entirely new Action Replay. ARi will be out soon enough. Just wait for the time being.

Actually, it's probably due to the fact that it doesn't have an icon. It automatically boots on the old DSs instead of clicking on it and loading it like a game. It treats it like the DS is always in auto-mode.

Since DSi ALWAYS goes to the DSi Menu, it can't be automatically booted like it was on the old models.

Threr is a new Action Replay thatworks with the DSi and all other DS too.. I got one the day it cam out and works great on my DSi and the DSlite..

My cousin has an m3i that works with action replay anyways if you want a flashcard don't get acekard if you dont have a ds/dsl to update it with unless your dsi is not v1.4 then update it with your dsi then update your dsi's firmware
